whats up ! a little about my project bought an 81 as my usernames states yellow with black dual stripes 4" cowl hood installed 86 vette seats b$m shifter black rattle can interior new 383 sbc th350 , g-force trans crossmember, G/N 342 posi rear umi box control arms , 15x10 crager star wheels 295x50x15 decent ride long way to go and looking forward for some good info from you guys name is John live in mass
 
welcome to the site I would love to see some pictures of your interior. sounds like a pretty neat setup you have there
 
thanks for the welcome the interior isnt great like most budget builds previous owner sprayed without disassembly but i added the vette seats which look good square style seat and very lightweight they just dont recline but i am great with that i dont have a camera at the moment if i can tear my wallet away from buying car parts i will get one i suspect in the year 2011
 
yes still very cool though. The vette seats was what i was most interested in seeing. not spending money on parts is very hard. until you look at the money spent sheet. hahaha Anytime i want to get something i look at my cost sheet and say i have spent enough for now. If you ever do get pics though make sure you post them up for all of us who want some interior ideas to see!
 
Fun car. Motor and transmission info? Taken her down ye ole test & tune yet?
 
its a 383 roller cam with a old beat up th350 i havent put it on the track the motor was built for the street in mind not so much the track
