I am putting together the list of things I need to fix on my Malibu wagon and one of them is the turn signal switch. All the lights light up and blink correctly, but the stalk doesn't click to the left or right and bumping it lightly can make them turn on. Am I looking at replacing the stalk or the switch or is it all one piece?

If this doesn't make sense - I can post a video tonight when I get home.

sounds to me like you have a problem with the switch, not the stalk. It may be worth removing the steering wheel and taking a look, you might be able to repair it. If not, a new turn signal switch should run about $25-$35
