New used bumper in perfect condition from 88HurstOlds

Yea it is. I thought that it was steel till I took it off. I am not sure why I have an Alum reinforcement maybe someone here can chime in and explain why. It is very light!

on diffrent option cars they had to stay with in the same weight class so in order to do that they would cut weight were they could. for ex. you got a cutlass w/ power seats ,and windows. it would bump the weight of the car up about 80 pounds, so to bring it back down they would use aluminum in parts to cut weight. they made alum. bumper backings(like yours) for front and rear , a rare alum. hood and i believe i heard of deck lid depending on what options your car had

Alum deck lid was factory race cars only as in stock class, maybe even pro stock and NASCAR

I still have all the lower chrome for that car, I'm amazed no one has snatched it up for the price I have it at for their condition...
Not one ding on any of them except for the front LH (which was sold).
I have them all except the very fronts and the RH Rear.

Yea I saw that you had it. Mine is still in good shape and would take you up on it if needed. I'd put it on ebay and get rid of it before we start popping it. It will be one of the later we do though. window stuff needs popped first.
