I don't really care for the rims on my Cutlass right now, I am probably going to order a set of MB Wheels Old School 17 x 8 in chrome with 4" backspacing, with 255/45/17 tires. From what I read in the wheel fittment guide thread, that should be about perfect 8)

What do you guys think?

Just a question that a little off topic lol.

How does a big 17" wheel like that get the name 'old school'?

No idea, I was wondering the same thing  But then again, 17" really isn't a "big" rim though.

Old School because it is a classic, standard 5-spoke mag. More on the design than the size.

I'm not sure of the back-spacing - am curious myself as I'm leaning more & more towards that size over 16".

4" backspacing is key,

so you're right...that combo should work perfectly

Ordered them already, couldn't wait

17 x 8 with 4" backspacing.
255/45/17 Hankook tires, sort of cheap tires, but they will last me the summer at least

A friend of mine on another board did a quick photoshop of them on my car. Not a great one, as I don't have a very good angle of my car, but it gives a decent idea

Can't wait to see them on the car. The photochop just doesn't do it justice. Kind of hard to see that lip

Should be sweet

Well, they should be here Tuesday, I can't wait!

Only problem is that I work 2nd shift and I just KNOW they will be here about 20 minutes before I leave for work :blam:
