Hey Dave,
Let's see some progress on that wagon. Are you still considering the big block in there?
It's always something, isn't it man. The boat, the kitchen, etc, etc. What I'm saying is, that there's always something that comes up.

Hey Jack,
I just found this post again
I replied to it last week and it said site not working or some sh*t and I lost everything I wrote.. Grrr
Yeah someday Ill get the big block in there just gathering cheap parts for now when I find them.
It needs a crank It had a couple spun rod bearings .
Or I could have it grinded 40 or 50 under according to measurements I took.
Cylinders and pistons look real good ..030 over
Someone rebuilt it at some point..
I'll get the bu back in the garage this summer and do some late night wrenching on it.
Its good to see ya plugging away with the body and paint on your wagon.
Totally digging the bumpers you did. I got the same plans for mine when get a welder (thats coming real soon..)
Did you have the rubber strips on your bumpers?
If so how did you fill the little oval holes?

Hi Dave,
The engine sounds like it's gonna need a crank, plus you don't know what the guy before you did to it. Besides, I don't think they make anything more than a 3rd (.030) oversize bearing. You'll probably have to go thru it thoroughly.

I'm glad to hear that you'll be getting back to work on it. My bumpers didn't have the rubber strips, so there was no filling of all those holes...
Let me know when you're ready to do your bumpers, I'll try to fill you in as much as I can on what I did, etc.
Talk to you soon, man.
