Hi gang, I'm a newbie here, I'm on Montecarloss.com & a few others, but stumbled on this accidentally. But here I am.

My car is an 86 Monte SS that I bought with no motor or trans & then found a 95 LT1 & T56 to put in it. Motor has a few mods, Comp Cams 306 cam, ported heads, roller rockers, MSD 6AL, 58 mm throttle body, 11:1 compression, bla bla bla. Rear end is an 8.5" unit from a Grand National with the stock 3.42 gears, I want to change to 3.73 or 4.10. Front brakes are 13" C5 vette rotors & 2 piston calipers on ZQ8 S10 Blazer spindles/knuckles.

Wheels and tires are 17x8 front, 17x9.5 rear with 245/45/17 & 275/40/17 tires.

Car still needs a lot of work, but it is fun to drive.

Sounds like a fun car to drive. I've always liked these mid 80's Monte SS's.
