Ok, so I'm a photographer, but up until now I never shot the beast, so here is the first shots from a night time outing. The last one is me with the beast.

BTW these were shot as part of the shoot for a new car site for the St. Louis, MO area, if anyone is from the STL area, check it out. Were hoping to have at least one of our own car shows by the end of the year.

Nice job... I want to get some decent pictures of my Monte this year too. F.Y.I. You didn't black out your license on the last picture like the previous ones..

Lose the Confederate flag plate. It detracts from an otherwise nice car and will make people think you're a hick. Otherwise, nice pics.

You noticed that too. Too many people do not understand the meaning of the flag and will think you are a racist just because you have it.

Up in my area, if someone seen it on a car, there would be an *ss whooping. One guy had a Charger done up like the General Lee with the flag and all and it got torched some years ago, around the 1980's.

Good way to scratch your dashboard too.

There was a pickup with one of those rear window decals of a rebel flag that sat parked on the street on my way to high school.

About 4 days after the truck made it's first appearance, somebody broke the back window.

I know there's different views of 'southern pride', but I'd hate to see somebody's disapproval get taken out on your gorgeous Cutlass.

Where I live, it is tolerated but looked down on. No one seems to do anything to anyone, but it brands you as uneducated. There are a lot of things you can debate about it, but the fact is that the Confederacy was primarily about maintaining slavery, and secondarily about other state's rights issues. I also disapprove of things that people of other races use as symbols of what can be interpreted as hate too, so it's not just white things. I just wish we could all get beyond the fact that there are people with a different skin color or heritage than us and move on as a society. Sorry, I'll get off my soap box now...

Well said. I will finish up by adding that if you are caught wearing red or blue in Fall River Massachusetts, which is right near me. you will usually get beat up.

Almost all the "gangs" are wannabee punks who have nothing better to do and it takes 3 or more of them to rob 1 person, hence the reason I like to carry.

Yeah I am off the soap box too, lol.

Amen to that, and I am anything but racist, I just like the look to be honest, but'll probably take it out.
