I'm looking to finally get my 1985 442 painted. It still has the original paint which will have to most likely be taken down to the bare metal in most areas. I want door jambs painted also.

Anyone have any recommendations for body shops in NJ? Looking for someone who has some experience doing these older muscle car types as I'm looking for perfection when It comes to painting the two-tone black/silver as close to the factory look as possible.

When I told them I want the gray lower color to come up exactly 5mm below the gold stripe (like it does from the factory), one place I took it to for an estimate said "why don't we just paint all black?" . . . No, this half-*ss stuff is not what I'm looking for.

Im looking for someone too, I had a guy lined up, but he never showed up. I have a few names and another guy is meeting me Sat. Ill let you know if Im gonna give him a try, and if you find someone let me know. Also theres a guy who will blast your car in s jersey for around 800 and come to your location. Have to find his number.
