Sorry to say, but stuff like that turns into restoration project. If you are going to put a 427 in that car, it looks like you need to do a lot of work to that frame or find another one. Good luck to you.

I hate too but I agree. Im kinda biased because mine was 100x worse then I expected. If your OCD then theres gonna be alot that triggers you when its seperated.Are you replacing all the body mount bushings this winter? I wanted to replace them on my car and it started a chain reaction to this lol.

Testicles! I received my extractor set last night, it works good so good that it separated the weld nut. I have been blasting it with W D 4o every day for the last week ,hoping it would not come to this. I guess the good news is I never attempted to loosen any other.
The next move is to put the key hole saw to it but not any time soon,
 
Cut three sides of a square and bend the metal back to access the cage nut. When finished, good it back down and weld the three cuts and you're done.
