I have a 78 Buick Riv, I was having problems last year so i parked for the winter. This spring I put in a new coil pack, cap and rotor and had a rebuild on my quadrajet. when i tried to start it found i had no spark, i can't find a fuse in the box for the ignition and I'm unsure where to look for an in-line fuse. I'm not sure where to go from here!

Check if the pink wire is getting power when the ignition is on, as Pontiac GP suggested. If still no spark, check the terminals and clean them if necessary, and also check the ground strap to the coil.

If you don't have power at the distributor, you need to work backwards somewhat, to see where it stops. Things that come to mind: Can you jiggle the key in run with a meter hooked up at the distributor and get power? Does everything else electrical work? Is there an ignition kill switch installed? What does the wiring look like under the dash? Is it the way the factory did it, or has it been hacked? These are the things that I think of first, check these out and report back and we'll take it from there.
