disconnected the battery to install a new fuel pump. After putting everything back together. And connecting up the battery I only had these lights for like two minutes. Now I have none and don't know what to do. Checked fuses, wires, the switch on the dash. All seem to be good. I have brakelights and turn signals. Any thing I am missing.

See if your getting power at the fuse with a test light. I am pretty sure those lights also use a circuit breaker, that could have went bad also. I dont know if the gauge lights get power from the headlight switch, or its own power source, but if the circuit breaker is bad that will cause them to go out also if they use the same power source.
