Even in one name brand things are different depending on what engine. . In the late 80s when I was still working in autobody, I was working on a G Cutlass that needed the front clip replaced. Insurance co. got a salvage one from another Cutass. Just about everything under the hood was on the opposite side of the wreck I was working on. For EASIEST transplant, as said what ever engine is in you G, go with that companies V-8
 
I thought he was doing an LS? 🤔

The devil is in the details! The bigger stuff seems relatively easy but the small stuff can drive you well and truly nuts.
