hello again. I've done a rear frame notch and added about 3-3.5" of xtra width to play with for rims and tires. im looking for anyone who has done likewise and knows what fits. id preferably like low profile tires and possibly 18" rims x 11 or 12" wide but would appreciate any advise. im looking for black centers and a nice deep chrome lip on the outside

You can prolly get away with 6.5 backspace now, but you still need to watch the wheel tubs, unless you minitubbed it.

fwiw assuming you are going to be making some more serious power M&H makes some great outstanding drag radials for 18s and their website has some great pics.

You need to measure plain and simple. I can tell you what worked on my car but I can gaurantee it won't be the same for yours.

I have 17x11's with 6" BS and 315/35-17 tires and they fit fine however do require the fender lips to be trimmed.

Are you running the stock wheel tubs?

We moved them in slightly but the wheel tubs really aren't much of a problem. It's the frame thats in the way.

You'll notice that the inner face of the wheel tub actually sits about halfway in from the face of the frame.
