I'm still trying to figure out what the hell the guy was talking about in the article. Definately not 442 rims, they have beauty rings on them. I think the trunk only looks stretched because of the angle of the shot, looks like they took out the quarter extension and put in a taillight from a wagon.

Looking at the pic the first thing I thought of was Lincoln Continental. In 83 there was a Continental, and a Continental Mark VI. 2 different platforms. They look like the Continental tailights. The rims look like the chrome rims someone put beauty rings on for some reason.

That is weird :? If you look close those tail lights aren't rounded like the lincolns. Also look at the lip just above the tail light on the quarter panel. That's not from any american car of the 80's that I've ever seen... unless the very edge of the panel was cut like that and smoothed, but I doubt it judging by the workmanship of the car.

I looked up this guys profile and he's from the middle east. Looks like he's big into american cars of the 70's and 80's. My question is where is that rear fender piece from (see above the tail light)? It's obviously tacked in and sanded smooth.... unless GM (or ford) made some weird sheet metal that I've never seen for euro edition cars.

click "all sizes" on the link, then dowlnoad large size, then zoom in to get a better look. This one is confusing me... grrr
