Over the next couple months there will be some tweaks and slow roll-outs of changes to our GBOTM contests, a little at a time.
The first one of these changes is to announce what the topic will be going forwards around the end of the second week or so of the month, but most importantly, trying to make sure to give you when at all possible TWO solid weekends to stage some pictures with your cars, instead of just having people sort through a hard drive in a scramble to see if you've got something that fits. The goal is that ought to be enough time to get at least a little decent weather in for most people.
Hopefully this can be a boost to both the number and the quality of entries since you've got a longer shot to go out and be creative.
So, being October, and as alluded to last month, this month's theme is Orange and Black. Black cars, orange cars, a black and white photo tinted orange in an editing filter, Halloween decorations behind your car, Halloween decorations ON AND IN YOUR CAR - THE LIMITS ARE YOUR IMAGINATIONS!!!
So let's get to it. For those interested in taking part, start your planning, and make use of this weekend and next to get something going. I will open the official nominations thread probably sometime next Sunday, the 24th, hopefully to fill up quickly with voting soon afterwards in the early part of that week.
