Oil drain plug leak

I have a slowly leaking oil drain plug bolt. I've put a new bolt and soft washer and it still leaks. The bolt threads on tight to the point that it shouldn't leak. Any suggestions other than Pan replacement? I'm thinking about trying the red Teflon tape tomorrow??

http://www.cgenterprises.com/drain_plugs_oversize_repair.htm here are some oversize plugs. But I used a plastic plug years ago that installed with a pencil-like tool and really worked great. I will try and locate one. They used to be sold in cheap-ola stores but they worked.
