I have a 1984 cutlass supreme brougham with the buick 3.8L V-6 and a 14 boly oil pan, the engine was rebuilt about 25,000 miles ago but they used cork gaskets on everything and my oil pan has a pretty health leak on the front. i've tried to get a new gasket but found that for the 14 bolt pan i can only get cork gaskets, or rubber coated fiber gaskets. does anyone know if there is a silicone gasket available for these engines, i'd prefer to use silicone so i won't have a leak again for hopefully longer than 25,00 miles.

I searched around for a bit and couldn't come up with anything besides the victor reinz cork/composite gaskets.

where is it leaking from? when i redid the gaskets on my sbc 350 i used cork gaskets and the rubber ends and put some grey gasket sealant on the ends of the gaskets without any issues. I actually found a leak and thought it was the oil pan gasket till i found out after driving it, it was a loose oil pan drain plug!

Are you sure it's the pan gasket ? The 3.8 Ft cover has a pressure leak point where the oil pump passage passes thru to the block. I have seen many 3.8's leak at this spot,it runs down and looks like the pan is leaking every where.
there is some difference from a factory gasket and a Fel-Pro.
Some ultraviolet dye and a black light might help pinpoint the leak. Hope you get it fixed.

Hmmm, it's leaking from the front but i guess i can't be positive that it is the pan and not leaking down from the front cover, i'll have to power wash it again and see if i can see it when it first starts... thx for all the help... i love this forum 😀
