Hi All,
New hear so bear with me,
I building a 454 BBC for my 1984 elco. I purchased and aftermarket chrome oil pan, and timing chain cover. On the bottom of the timing cover is a hole. When I place the oil pan on WITHOUT the oil pan gasket, these holes line up. My assumption is that a bolt goes thru there. However when I put the FelPro Permadry gasket on, the gasekt doesnt quite seat on the lip as it should, and I believe that it will leak oil? Any solutions? Any ever run into this?
