Found old pictures of my first cutlass. This was my first car build as a 17 year old kid. Spent a whole summer building it and spent every dime I had on it. Which added up to $2400, and that’s including the $1000 dollar purchase price of the car. I bought a rebuilt 403 off a guy I found in the trading post. And a lot of used parts from the junkyard. The only new part I bought was the B&M ratchet shifter. Well the pictures brought back a lot of memories, and I was just wondering what got some of the rest of you started.

Still have my Regal I got for $1400 in 2014, my first car. My parents came into some money and decided I needed a car as I was turning 16. I was not without conditions though. Get a ticket, car is gone. And pick up my siblings from school. The V6 exploded so I built a 350 Buick for it (teal engine), my first engine build. I beat the snot out of it and it exploded. I went through 2 craigslist transmissions, and now have a fresh 1970 GS350 315hp/410ftlb Buick 350 in it (red engine).

Here ya go. I bought my Cutlass in 2001 for $1400 as well. In around 2003-04 I did the carbed 355 swap. These first few pics are from March 2006....

I then did the EFI swap in 2007 in my parent's driveway. These pics are from September of 2007 right before a huge local show where the EFI was a hit with everyone that looked at it.

This car has been through alot, but when the current body off resto is "done" it will be like a new car!!!!
