In this area an unwarped core that just needs rebuilt or new seals etc 20 - $25. If its in good shape & proper working condition off a running engine more but it varys a lot depending on what it is and who you can find to pay what.
If it's a rare one, it can bring decent money.
A professionally rebuilt W-30 carb with all the right casting numbers and matching date codes will easily bring $400 from the right buyer.
A correct 442 core from the late 60s or early 70s should bring $80 to $150, possibly more if it's something super-rare.
I'm not saying he'll get his $2500, but real NOS ram Air carbs have sold for over $4,000. I have no idea if your carb is that rare, but you don't want to undervalue it if it is something very special.
To get the most for it, you need to do your homework; check all the numbers, verify the application and advertise it accordingly.
If it's just a garden variety Q-jet, the core value stated in the previous post is probably all you'll get.
I would spend the time to determine the exact year/model//engine/trans application, then check eBay to see what they are going for.
Its a 7028251 for a 68 455, it was only at 14 bucks & 7 hrs. left, but quickly jumped to 50 then 75.00 before i through in the towel on bidding. Here was the winning bid.
