Just got a quick question here. Does a dipstick tube for an olds 350 just slip in or does it need to have a o-ring just wondering because its seems to be really loose when in? maybe i have the wrong one?

It just presses in, however if you bought one of those aftermaret chrome tubes, that's your problem. They're junk and don't fit right. Bought one years ago for my 455 and it was loose as well.

Should still be able to get the tube from any GM dealership. I know you can for the big block engines.

Or if you really want a trick aftermarket tube, you can buy a Lokar tube for an LS1 engine. Just needs a little filing around the tube where it sits against the block but other than that drops right in.

alright going to the dealership. thanks for the fast reply.
