I built and broke in my 403, went through the tuning process / setting up dizzy curve ..ext, what we eventually came too is the engine was running lean - Carb related. I had a Qjet original to a 403 built by everyday performance, after trying a few things it still runs alittle lean, trys to cut out around 3100+ RPM under mid throttle, stalls at idle sometimes and has poor idle quality in gear. I havn't tried going to the next jet size up yet, that's next.

I picked up a donor carb to bolt up/tune in to see how it acts before i go any further with my Qjet. The donor carbs a Holley 4160 750 CFM vac secondary R3310-2 . Is this carb enough for my setup?
