What up peoples. I have a 455 BBO that was recently rebuilt before I got it. My problem is that the drivers side head is a J coded head and the passenger side is a G code. Is it possible that the J head and the G head were ported to match? It was running fine when I pulled it but I am curious.

Anythings possible but the only way to know would be to pull them off and check.

I have a friend that had one J head and one E head I believe on his 455. But he ported the J head to match the E. Engine ran in the mid to low 12's.

Thanx. That what I figured i would have to do. Just didnt want to do it. Engine is already installed and I can tell the heads have had work cause of the recent freeze plugs and cleanliness.
