I recently purchased a 86 cutlass supreme. The motor is a old's gold 350 and iv noticed some vacume lines are either open or plugged. I'm very interested in finding a website with a CLEAR vacume line diagram and instructions as to which vacume male endings goes to the other so I can have a proper vacume line set up. Please send me any links you think may help. Thank you

If you go to www.autozone.com and create an account, you should be able to pull up at least the emissions vacuum line diagram under the repair guide emissions link.

However, I'd bet many of the original emissions pieces have been removed, resulting in plugged line, etc.

Have it all hooked up correctly now I believe. Still rough idle speed up and down. Egr check next.

It kind of sounds like you might be starting with a high mileage engine that already had problems and was set up that way for a reason. Re-introducing EGR could aggravate the condition worse. Don't take offense, I am speaking from experience on this one. If I were you, I would look more carefully at the carb itself as a possible culprit for bad performance, especially if you do add the egr and the car is slower.
