I got the answer to this several years ago but now I cant find the post. I am getting ready to drop my 455 into my Cutlass and was curious if anyone knew or had a diagram of which holes you use when bolting the engine mounts to the frame. Thanks guys

IMAG0762.jpg IMAG0761.jpg i have a couple pics. these are from a 79 roller i bought . originally a diesel, then switched to a 403 olds. i know the mounts are correct but i never saw the car with an engine in it. left picture is of left mount, right pic is of right mount. can anyone else confirm.

I have a 455 in my '80 Cutlass. Oldsmobile Joe is correct, the mounts overhang the back of the crossmember slightly. Those frame mount locations are correct to place your 455.
FWIW, the location of the frame mounts should be the same across the board on all Olds powered cars as the external dimensions are the same from 307 on up to 455. The only difference externally between SBO's and BBO's is actually the deck height. BBO's are taller.
Hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I was looking at mine yesterday and I found the holes, the top is a normal hole the bottom is slightly slotted if im correct at least on the passengers side. Look for more in my upcoming build thread for the car.
