Hey

after doing my heads and all the goodies to my olds, it seems to be leaking oil from any possible area and im starting to believe that i might have a crankcase pressure issue because i wasnt having this problem nearly this severe last year. I can see trails of oil coming from both valve covers at my PCV valve and at my breather on the drivers side valve cover. both of these valve covers are baffled so this should not be happening (unless there is too much crankcase pressure as i suspect)

Im trying to find a screw on breather for my oil fill tube no try to alleviate this pressure and hopefully eliminate or reduce my oil leaks. any links or help would be much appreciated

nobody answered

but anyways i picked up a baffled oil cap from advance auto and got some unexpected results, my oil pressure is way better as i my idling oil pressure is up from about 13 to 20ish and the mid rpm oil pressure is above 40 where it was probably in the 30's range. Time will tell how this change will affect my oil issues but just for the oil pressure gains i am very happy about the switch for the 5 dollar price tag
