I plan to install new gauges in my MCSS. Speedway motors has some cheap Omega gauges that look great. Any of you guys used these gauges before?

Do I need mechanical or electrical sending units?

If you go with mechanical gauges, you won't need sending units. If you go with electrical, you certainly will need sending units.
For instance, the mechanical oil pressure gauge will have (copper or plastic) tubing and fitting to connect to a port on the block where your oil pressure idiot light normally goes to.
And mechanical water temp gauge will have a capillary tube to connect to your intake manifold or to the side of your cylinder head.
Otherwise, you'll need electric senders and wire.

Thanks for the information that was very helpful

I'm a fan of mechanical gauges myself....IF you go this route take that plastic nylon tubing and throw it out, spend the extra couple of bucks and get the brass tubing for the oil pressure gauge.

From the looks of it all of my current sending units are electrical

I'll probably stick with electrical to make things easy.

Lol that's a good one. These gauges seem to be great according to reviews.
