Really enjoyed reading through this. Similar goals (Drag week and 9s) as I have for my new project. Keep the info coming. Loving the learning experience.

Seriously.
Ever walk miles in the blazing mid-Western heat searching for an alternator for your car when you are thousands of miles from home (and out of country)? Drag Week teaches some hard AF life lessons.
I've run the C2C express and the 2904 in less than trustworthy vehicles, so I do have a bit of experience in that. We blew our Cutlass up last year, evacuated the transmission in the middle of nowhere Missouri/Illinois area. 2 years ago we overheated our diesel Benz in New Mexico desert heat. We made it to LA, but the result of that was that we lifted the head and ruined our hopes for a leisurely drive back east. Looking forward hopefully to Drag Week or Rocky Mountain Race Week using some of that experience and adding in making full pull race passes in between long drives.
She's doing work!BOOTED 🙃
Onto working in the 60’
