I changed the thread title a while back to chasing a 9.0_. Well, at the moment I seem to have created a 9.0 bracket car.

The issue is I'm trying to average 8's during Drag Week 2024. Through two days I'm at 9.0_. I have a set of mildly used M/T Pro Bracket Radials (PBR's) that a friend sold me 'on the cheap' and I bought a better rear shock - Viking Crusader with HJ valving. And all I can say is WOW, I'm yet to knock the tire off. These shocks and tires are taking what I'm throwing at them. I set a PB during the 1st two days in terms of 60', 1/8th, 1/4, ET and MPH. Today was the longest drive so hopefully it's downhill from here.

It's going to run 8's or I'm taking it home in a bucket.

Getting it done!

Awesome to see the chassis stuff figured out.

It'll go an 8, just needs another pound or two

Spoiler alert

In the 8's with an 8.94!!

And some weight reduction through the traps...

Hopefully the hood can be repaired
