I got one last year for 199$ here it is a year and a month later, the damn battery is R.I.P. LoL, just paid 33$ to replace this joker

It's still under warranty.

Thats weird because i had one that had been sitting in my garage on the ground for 3 years. Just last month i took it to advancedauto to see if it had any charge at all and it was completely dead. They charged it for 2 days and its back to 98%.

I think u can recharge those batte3rys if you hook it up to another battery and charge them both at the same time!

Have had two in different vehicles, first one died after 9 years. Yes that is right 9 years, the other one is in a project car but not sure if it will charge back up after sitting for a few years but we will see. The one that lasted 9 years was a Champion Vortex made by Optima for Champion, basically a red top Optima with Champions name on it. No other brand battery has lasted that long in any car I have had, all my cars get Optima Batteries.

i think all optimas and sound system batterries are over rated, go and get your self a good marine deep cell battery for half the price it'll out last you lol... Plus they have two terminals a post and a little post perfect for hooking up sound system and starter wires.

I got a regular Delco battery this year (I can't afford an Optima) but it's been great. I don't have any sound system though.

i had bought one red top about, it got replaced in 3 months than again in 6 months then again in 11 months. Then i bought a battery from advance auto and never looked back, no replacements needed. Hell i know a guy that had his red top optima replaced 7 times in one year, first time was 3 days after he bought it, dead cell

Friend of mine had one and it would never hold a good charge from new. I read far more negative things about the optima batteries than positive.

I have always used the diehard batteries and never had issues. I have also heard the duralast from autozone are pretty good.
