You're seeing right and this is why the cage is welded to the frame and not the body. Chris must be a bondo magician if he's going to fix that, I'm wondering where he is going to start...

Its bad when you cant even figure out what kind of car it is. Atleast the cage did its job

One of his sponsors must be a padding company, I have never seen so much padding on the bars. We just use it in the driver's area
