P235/70R14 tires on 85 Monte Carlo-will they fit?

I recently bought a set of used Cragar s/s wheels that came with some decent BFGoodrich P235/70R14 tires. The guy said they were on a Chevelle. Will these fit on my '85 Monte Carlo?

The tires should fit without a problem, it all depends on the backspacing on the wheels whether or not you will have fitment issues. I run 235/60R15's on chevy rally wheels with I believe a 4 inch back spacing and mine are very close to the rear frame rails.

I have them on my Cutlass with no problems. I believe the factory rally's are 4.5" backspace.

Do they even make a tire that size ive heard of P225/70 14

My first wheels were just those, I now have larger 15" cragar ss with 245/60 /15 bfg's, which required fender mods up front with a lowered height. Rear could go much larger with no problem. As long as your staying in the classic g-body style , these are a cool classic choice. If you get wild like mine, as seen in links, many people call them outdated, while others still love em.

Agreed who makes a 235/70/14? I don't know if they would fit or not.
