Just got some new bumper fillers and need to paint them and either my data tag is missing that has my paint code on it, or i just cant find it. I believe it was located in the trunk, but cant find one anywhere. From the picture below, can anyone tell me my paint code?

If you pop your hood just below windshield on drivers side on the cowl there is a riveted on tag thats where the piant code is.

Thanks for all your help guys, Here is a photo of my cowl tag on my 82 regal. I know the C04 means Landau top and AM6 means 55/45 seats. But does the 77D code and the 72L code mean my car was once a two tone car?

RPO labels weren't put under trunk-lids until 1984, so it isn't missing... it never had one.

If it were a two-tone car, the code would be followed by a "U" as in 'upper'.

77D should be your interior color.
72L will be your paint color.
87T is the vinyl roof color.

Ok, found out the 72L is Lucite "ppg" acrylic Lacquer, color- Light Redwood. Now I hope i can find a match, because they dont make the Lucite brand anymore. the 77D code on my plate means interior color -Dark Maple- and the 87T is the color for my vinyl top -Dark Redwood-.
