CUTLASS Steering Column Paint?

Honestly don’t recall I wound up doing a bunch of other interior pieces and I think eventually I wound up buying either six or seven cans

I didn't use a full can whenI recoloerd Jr.'s column this past fall. Put about four coats on it over primer.

565bbchevy you think one can will be enough for the steering column or should I grab 2? Also did you top coat yours with a clear?

1 can should be plenty for the column and I used SEM low gloss clear as a top coat for protection.
I have always used SEM color coat but they don't have a burgundy that matched my interior which is why I bought these instead, but it worked out just fine.
