I don't know your background but as a body man I can tell you darker colors show more imperfections. Black shows all the sins wight hides everything. Light pearls and metallics show sand scraches. So take those things into consideration when getting it ready. Cost is another factor to consider soled colors and some mitalics can be shot single stage witch is cheaper than try coats like candy colors so budget and skill play a big factor. I hope this helpsAny pictures of paint jobs? I have an 83 cutlass supreme, trying to figure out a paint color. Leaning towards regular black but looking for either satin or kandy colors. Post photos if have any.
I think purpose and preference play a BIG part in that direction I have an 87 Cutlass an for 12 years I can't decide on a color but I think I figured it out today it's a 2016 Toyota blue I fixed a Camry at work and fell in love with the color (not the car) try going online and serching pictures of Cutlass that's how I found out my daughter liked the 79 H/O she picked it out when we were looking for a color for my Cutlass my profile picture is the resultWhat color is the car now ? Will black go with the interior color or is that being changed too ? Im kinda strange I guess. I like factory colors or a plain color that goes with the style of the car. Candy paint on a street rod looks hot. Not sure about a G body though.
