just need some options. i am in the process of replacing my interior.my question is should i wait till the car gets painted or does it matter.

I would paint it first then put the interior in. Makes it much easier to prevent overspray.

Im gonna have to disagree. I put my interior in after I painted it and it was a pain trying to work seats and carpet in when your trying to stay off of fresh paint. Just take some extra time and mask everything off.

well not having it painted till next year but i was wanting to replace the interior this year. didnt know if i should wait. im not painting it a friend that works for a car lot is.

I would say you can leave most of the interior in when getting painted but I would pull all the pieces around your door jam areas and whatever other interior pieces you have to take out to get your quarter glass out.

I'd say you can leave most of the interior in it too. Just mask everything off real good.
But take this as a warning..... The sanding/body shop dust will cover EVERY square inch of your car inside and out. You'll have your work cut out for ya cleaning everything up when the paint guy gets done.

I painted mine Then put in the interior.
It was mush easier to Remove the glass and paint the jambs without the Innards in the way. 8)
