I am going to be changing my trans very soon from a 200m to a th350 and I would like to know what parts are needed for the swap. I know I need a new crossmember and probably a new speedo gear. Do I need any cables or anything and also what would be a good stall converter for a modified 307? Last question is - would I be able to keep the colum shifter or would I have to change it to the floor?

You don't need another crossmember unless you are going to dual exhaust. Even then, the stock one can be modified. All the cables will work on the TH350. I'm sure someone will chime in on the torque convertor.

I have dual Exhaust already and my mechanic modified the cross member for it. I was told by my mechanic I would need a new crossmember.....unless maybe he meant if I put in a 200r4. Anyway, what kind of cables go to the transmission now? I want to get new ones because the ones on the car would be 23 years old. Trying to do this right yet as affordable as possible, i'm doing a lot of research.

The Metric 200 is pretty much a direct swap to a TH350.

Crossmember, driveshaft, all the same.
You may have to modify the ends of your cooler lines, but that's just a precautious guess.

The cable mentioned is the kick-down cable that runs from the carb down to the passenger side of the transmission.
