So, does anyone know what parts are interchangeable between an '84 Regal and an '84 S10?

Namely, the wiper motor is broken in my S10, and I don't need the one in the Regal, so could I straight swap those out?

You could always check parts numbers at NAPA or AutoZone websites.

Don't take them apart.

Cross reference the part numbers first.

Or you could take them both out and compare.

They both need to be either delay or the 2-speed (hi-lo) kind.
Mismatching the two will result in it not working properly.
Electrical connectors are different as well.

My 442 has delay, and when I bought it, it had a 2-speed motor from a junkyard. Luckily the '87 I parted out had delay, so I swapped it out.

And you're sure it's the motor and not the switch?

Yup. I compared at the NAPA here in town, while I was delivering there. No go, parts are definitely not the same. Thanks for the help.
