Define irony- fast car movie guy gets killed in a fast car. Damn shame I really liked his movies. I wonder if they will work his death into the F&F 7 or what?

Saw a pic of the car. Not only did they hit a pole at a high rate of speed, it also burned up. I hope they were already dead when it burned up.

When I first heard he died in a crash, though I was sad, I wasn't surprised. That was just the kind of thing he did. I thought maybe it could've happened during shooting for Fast 7. But when I heard he was just a passenger in a friend's car, it was a real punch in the stomach. And it's so ironic that it happened at a charity event that he organized.

I posted about this on my facebook and everyone was like oh hes famous whatever. Im sure paul was a great guy him and the passenger both. But its amazing how people hate on someone when hiding behind a keyboard. Im sorry guys i just had to vent

Nah, dude, I just had to vent too. Paul actually was the passenger. The guy driving was his friend. He was a racecar driver by the name of Roger Rodas.
Seriously though, everyone on facebook is just seeing this as a time to get attention or shame others. It's almost just as sad, just not in the same way. There's a big bandwagon going around now that's all "'like' for the guy no one cares about cuz he wasn't a celebrity." What a load that is. Making such a huge negative assumption like that just to shame others and feel righteous. And like it's such a crime to feel sad over losing a public figure that's been in people's lives for over a decade. I dunno, man...

I still can't believe he passed away, what a tragedy it was. I think they are going to incorporate his death in the film series. that just shows that the lord could call us at anytime, whether we are at our best times in our life, or the worst times.

Hey, we're all car guys here. We know better than most what can happen every time we fire it up and I believe the statistics show more people die in car crashes than cancer, war, etc. Then the average idiot sees a car movie and thinks he can do just like whats-his-name. I'm sure both guys knew what they were doing, and it got out of hand in a bad way. Happens every day. Like I said before, damn shame. I liked his movies.

For what little is left of that Porsche, it must've been one hell of a ride through a 45 zone. I mean I know those cars are mostly lightweight materials but dang.. Hopefully they died before the fire got to them.
