Performance Chip?

Came across this "Surge Performance Chip" which claims to be able to improve MPG and HP. Does anyone have experience with these? I think they might be bogus but it was worth asking if I could get +4mpg.

Did you read how it works? It's just a resistor that goes on your IAT (intake air temp) sensor to confuse your ECM into altering timing and fuel trim. Go ahead and order one up and let us all know how well it works.

If you have $90 to waste, try it and write up a review or something haha.. Those things are usually a bunch of crap and in some cases do more harm than good.
