I have a slightly unusual request (mods feel free to move this topic if this is the wrong subforum)
My father has a 1978 El Camino Conquista as his current project car. He plans to swap in a roller block 350 and do paint and interior work, etc etc after he finishes the '86 diesel GMC pickup he is currently working on. I happen to do automotive pencil artwork and would like to draw him a picture of his El Camino as it may look when it's done, but I'm having trouble finding a good photo on the web to use as reference.
If anyone here is willing to take a picture of their ride (you can block out the plate number or whatever, I don't mind) or direct me to a place you may have already posted one, I would be very grateful.
The specific thing I am looking for is a 1978 El Camino, preferably black or another dark color (to maximize reflection depth in the paint; white and silver don't work well for that), with the cowl induction hood and Torque Thrusts or a similar style of wheel. I would like a front 3/4 view, left or right does not matter. Having the front wheels turned to one side (to show off the wheel better) is a nice touch. Most importantly the image needs to be at least 1024 x 768 or [preferably] larger, so that I can see the details in order to replicate them (my finished pieces are done on 11 x 14" paper). I did find one good picture on Google that matched all my other criteria, but it was tiny.
