not a monte, but they are 275/60/15s on 8" rims

looks like alot of these guys are using wheels with 4 or 4.5 inch backspacing. I would think anything more than that would require some use of spacers.

how is your turning radius with 235/60s infront? Any rub? What backspacing are you using?

My turning radius does not seem to have been affected, but I really don't drive my car hard; it's more of a cruiser at this point. The backspacing on my fronts is the same as the rear (somewhere in the 4-4.5 range). Because the fronts push out towards the fender, I did a little bit of modifying in there to avoid rubbing on the wheel well. The rims were repurposed from my other project. If I was buying new wheels, I would have just bought the right backspacing for the front. I remember running 235/60/15's on the front of my Cutlass back in the day without any issues. I know I had 15x8's, I just do not remember the b.s
