Pics of 2 tome Montes

Years ago I had a friend with a 78-80 (?) gold and black Monte Carlo. The body was gold and as I recall the raised portion of the hood was blacked out. I'm pretty sure the the paint was factory (but this has been almost 20 years ago). Does anyone have a Monte with a similar paint sceme and can post some pictures?

sounds like a Hurst Olds colour scheme. Otherwise it was a re-paint

I'm pretty sure there was a 2-tone scheme for these, I just can't find any photos ATM... I know what you're talking about, though....

They were gorgeous, my mom had a two tone silver with black hood roof trunk brand new in 79. I loved that car.
