Nice looking car, what are your plans for her?
well the body is in real good shape so it wont cost much time/money to get it perfect. that being the case i'm gonna save that for last. fist thing is to get a 350 and swap that 307 out. but other then that not much. maybe a rear disk swap.

do that but leave teh wheels on it

i wouldn't bother with the rear disk breaks until, or unless you do a ford 9 in it. gears and a posi would be a good thing too!

lucky b*st*rd. I wish i had relatives who had good taste in cars, or a few I wish they would have kept until i got into cars.
Looks like you got a good lookin and well taken care of car.

funny story with the car, my uncles dad is/was an old Italian immigrant. so when he went to buy the car he singed the papers and went to get his car. well they gave him one off the lot. i guess he got real upset see he thought he bought the one that was on the showroom floor. long story short the ended up redoing all the paper work and giving him "that" car. lol

Rex, Nice clean body & interior no serious rust and no landau top good find. If you are satisfied with a 350 KrisW on this board has one for sale cheap.

Edit: Wait sorry I thought you had a Buick 3.8, you have an Olds 307. Best easiest cheapest swap would be an Olds 350 or 403. It would be a direct drop in, no changing motor mounts moveing fuel line battery & starter hookup etc just direct drop in and you can re-use all your existing brackets, power steering, altenator, AC. If you want to make it fly check out the engine builds/combos section at www.realoldspower.com good luck and have fun with her.
