Get a multimeter and check each pin receptical in your instrument panel to see which is 12VDC + and ground, The 3rd pin will be the tachometer signal. Your key will need to be in the run position while checking.

Ok so the pin that has the #3 goes to the "tach" on the distributor, correct?

On pin #1 and #2, which is (+) and which is (-)?

Thanks bud.

I think what he meant is that after you find out which two pins are 12vDC and ground...the left over pin (third) would be tach signal.

Not sure if you have the tach bracket for that tach or not...but here is a pic of the connections...

Oh ok gotcha. I was looking to temporary wire it just to time my car so i wouldn't go fiddling with the instrument panel.

Does anyone know where I can find one of those bracket? I would like to add a factory tach to my replace my clock.
