Piston To Head Clearance

Having problems getting the heads on, they keep hitting the pistons not sure why.
Maybe thicker head gaskets and longer head bolts will solve the problem.

You might consider an adapter gasket...
 
Just mill the tops of the pistons a bit LOL

So if this is like the ones they make for wheels I should be able to bolt the completely wrong head on for my application... SWEET !!

That's it...All you need is a "Cylinder Head Lift Kit", I'm sure Auto Zone or NAPA carries them or knows someone who does!:rofl:
 
I have this bitchin' welder I can lend you if you want to cut a chunk out of the rods and weld 'em back together
