So it started with this eagle rotating
the pistons are sealed power H345DCP as you all know the kits are rated at 500HP
The used piston In the picture is the same as the new but it was purchased in 1997 from Jegs for 77$ Set of 8
Changes for what I see they moved the top ring down on new model
Pin is no longer dedicated press optional floating
I’m planning on weighing everything after the beer run
So I have 6 other sets of pistons I got too taking a closer look and the high end sealed power it has some of the same features as the Mahle and wiseco do most noticeable the tiny pin and how light weight The piston is 450grams good ring pack round wire locks accumulator grooves all for 250$ they are 6” rod 4.020 bore 350 Chevy very nice
Know on to the two sets of summit pistons KB may make them from what i see not very light they do have the KB 6G-14B pins tops are nice could use some deburring on the bottoms standard ring pack same clip snap type ring the KBs use on floating pins ok for the money
Mahle is my favorite and I have used JE Wiseco Diamond and SRP
