PITA TH200 kickdown cable

I have an 81 Buick Regal with 231ci V6 & a b*st*rd child th200 transmission.. Long story short, I need a kick down cable & AutoZone act like they cant comprehend that all Regals dont have 200r4/TH350's.. Is there another cable that I can use because the CA-1960 from AutoZone isnt working.. I had 1 from CarQuest but it didn't fit either..

Got it this morning & the eyelet fits over the spring.. Unfortunately, the plastic boot's still too big to fit into the bell housing.. The 1942 is actually bigger than then 1960.. SMH
