So i have changed my center link, power steering pump, and gearbox but still have alot of play the car wanders off i have to be very cautious while driving its pissing me off any ideas guys would really help?
:wtf:

Try the intermediate shaft or look at the column. I just replaced my intermediate shaft, rag joint, and gear box and my steering feels like day one. The parts place sells intermediate shafts for g bodies. Same part as g body parts but for $20 less.

My car is in storage right now, but it was developing this issue too just before I put it away. For me the problem it ended up being is that the steering column was starting to separate/ fall apart and it eventually got really loose. If you can fit a screw driver in the gap between the two things at the top, or your 'Drive' takes a second or two to engage/ chirps the tires occasionally that's whats starting to happen and you will have to diss/ reassamble it eventually. Hope this helps.

Okay another thing you might want to consider doing is going with the jeep cherokee shaft upgrade but run a search on it here and read what all is involved the time to do it is now bc they're a dime a dozen today but who knows what they'll cost in a few years. I'm trying to get mine done this year for sure or at least buy 1
