PLEASE HELP!! carb problems

okay i have 86 cutlsass supreme brougham.. in which i recently switched to a edelbrock 1406 carb havin tons of trouble and reading posts now realize that it jus aint gonna wrk right with this computer controlled system...

i love this car so im not gonna worry about budget will someone be kind enough to explain to me exactly what i will have to do and how much i will spend to get my baby back running right...

If you want to run that aftermarket Carb, you can find and earlier year HEI Distributor (non Computer) with the Vaccuum advance can on the front and then by pass the computer.

thankx i really appreciate that .. but what abot somethin about the torque converter lockup or somethin?? and would a aftermarket distributor do the trick?
